Facebook Timeline Pages Add ‘Created’ And ‘Launched’ Option 2012

A profile timeline begins with someone’s birthdate, but on a page there are more ways to describe a beginning.
Facebook has just expanded upon that with the addition of the words “created” and “launched” to the drop-down submenu that appears when page admins click on the milestone icon for the first time.
Said submenu still includes the original options, “founded,” started” and “opened.”
These variations make a lot of sense, based on the different types of entities that run pages on Facebook — some represent entire organizations while others just focus on a single product or idea, among other manifestations.
Power-tipster Kevin Evanetski, founder of Social Yeah supplied us with screenshots that illustrate these new options, and pointed out that Facebook only lets you choose one of the options in the drop-down menu.
However, you can go back and change the wording of your formation by clicking on the milestone icon, located immediately above and to the right of the field for inputting a status update on timeline.
